Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is a process designed to bring members of a parish together in Christ. All of our commitments, including our commitment to Christ, need continued renewal if we are to be faithful. CRHP is an effective spiritual renewal process which calls together the members of the parish in order to experience personal conversion and Christian community in the environment of our own parish.

The renewal weekend, to which you are invited, is given FOR parishioners BY parishioners. A team that has previously attended a CRHP weekend, with a Lay Director and Spiritual Director, work together in prayer and love to provide you with this two day, one overnight, live-in experience in our church facilities.
Come prepared to have fun and renew your heart. The process is centered around reflections by team members with emphasis on small group discussions and activities. Topics covered include the Father’s loving care for us, Scripture, Eucharist and what Christian life is all about. You will be free to share as much or as little as you are comfortable with. You and your needs will always be respected. The sharing dialogue is stimulated in a very liturgical, scriptural, and prayerful atmosphere. Sacraments are part of the weekend. On Saturday evening, Reconciliation is offered within our sanctuary.
The weekends will be held in our parish from Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon. There will be one women’s weekend in the spring and one men’s weekend in the fall each year. Sleeping accommodations will be provided and meals will be prepared by volunteer members. The entire weekend is informal. Casual and comfortable clothing is the “uniform of the day.” Every effort will be made to accommodate special needs.
The weekend is open to all members of St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Participation is restricted to those who are at least 19 years old. CRHP is for anyone seeking spiritual renewal, desiring to build up the Body of Christ or gain a deeper sense of purpose within the parish community. Praying for guidance is important. If you feel that Christ, through the Holy Spirit is calling you – COME!
There is no cost to attend this retreat. It is a gift to you from St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
From the pastors, or from anyone who has attended a CRHP weekend.

The next Women's retreat is tentatively scheduled for Spring of 2010. Are you looking for time to reflect on your faith or just meet new friends at St. Timothy? Here’s your chance. We are putting together the formation team for the CRHP Women’s Retreat (April 17 & 18, 2010).
If you have attended a past retreat and for some reason couldn’t join the formation team at that time, or if you were on a formation team in the past—and you would like to help, WE NEED YOU! Please prayerfully consider joining this team and give the gift of the weekend to the retreat participants in the spring!
Please email Donna Lund (ddlund5@yahoo.com) or the church (office@sttimothylutheran.com) if you feel called to join this team (or if you have questions)!
