St. Timothy is blessed with several choirs who regularly provide musical leadership for one or more of the weekly services. To receive more information on any of our music ministries, please contact our Music Administrator, Katie Andrade. Below are several opportunities to join one of St. Timothy’s many music ministries:
Our youth choir, Kairos, is open to seventh through twelfth graders. Kairos rehearses on Sunday evenings at 5:45 p.m. in the Cornerstone Center. The choir sings and serves in worship at a number of services throughout the year. Kairos first rehearsal will be Sunday, Sept. 13, 5:45 –6:30 p.m.
Living Waters is our high school youth band. If you play an instrument, or love to sing, please join our group. Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23, rehearsals be on LOGOS nights, from 5-6 p.m. The band will help lead songs and skits at LOGOS worship.
New “ringers” are invited to join our handbell choir, Peals of Praise, directed this season by Andrea Kostelny (630-778-9773). Fall rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 6:15 p.m. Call Andrea for more information.
If you love to sing, make new friends, and have lots of fun, we invite you to join Soul Assembly Choir. Soul Assembly’s family of God rehearses on Mondays, 7-8:15 p.m. No music or choir experience needed. Through music, leadership and faith, we serve as shepherds in the kingdom of God. Rehearsals are underway, but all are welcome to join at any time.
St. Timothy’s Chancel Choir welcomes men and women college-age and older, with or without choir experience. Chancel Choir provides significant and valued worship leadership on Sunday mornings. Chancel Choir rehearsals will resume on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 7:30 p.m.

Do YOU sing in the shower, hum along with the radio, tap your toe to a beat? Then consider joining an ADULT CHOIR! New members are always welcome to join and add their voices to God’s praise!
Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7:30pm

Maybe you don’t sing, but would like to learn to RING on our Malmark handbells! The PEALS OF PRAISE bell group would love to have you!
Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 6:15 pm
Do you like music with a more contemporary beat? Then you might be interested in joining this ensemble of musicians and vocalists. Featured instruments include guitar, flute, bass and percussion.
Rehearsals: Monday at 7:00 - 8:15 p.m.
Serve: Weekly on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

This group of High School Youth serves at the St. Timothy High School Youth Group gatherings and other congregational worship events.
Rehearsals: LOGOS nights, from 5-6 p.m. The band will help lead songs and skits at LOGOS worship.

High school students (7th—12th grade) have the opportunity to sing with their peers as part of the Kairos Choir. They typically sing traditional as well as contemporary choral literature.
Rehearsals: Sundays at 5:45pm

If you are in 3rd—6th grade, the Celebrate Choir may be for you! Choir members explores many fun aspects of singing and worship! Celebrate sings about once a month for church during the school year. Come try it out!
